Question. Will a T700 Auto gearbox out of a VS Clubsport, fit onto a 308 with the Chev bolt pattern, out of a Kingswood?

Anyone know?

yeah the bolt pattern is the same trans mount is in a different spot to the T350 tho:


you will need to figure out how to setup the detent cable and figure out a switching system for the electronic torque lockup.

As Ari said, yes it will fit. However, VR onwards ran the 4L60E (E for Electronic) which you will never get to work without an ECU to run it. They have no kickdown cable or speedo cable provision, completely useless for a conversion as they're a fully electronic auto.

If you want to run a 4 speed auto behind a 308, you need a 4L60 (aka Turbo 700) out of a VN/VP.
