bluetooth obd2 device and app. Anyone else tried it?

ok so i bought a bluetooth obd2 device and downloaded the Torque app onto my htc because i though i would be interesting to see what the car is like and i can pair the device to my phone but i cant connect to it through the Torque app and 2 other ones

has anyone else tried this too and had any luck any if so what model/engine as im trying it on my 03 vy acclaim (v6 ecotec)

dosent mean it OBDII, for example the VS it also has a OBDII plug under the steering wheel but only ALDL works with it.
