The VIN number is AVK001253A.
I bought this car a while back and i have been wondering exactly what it is, as it looks as though it has been modified.
A hasty response will be greatly appreciated.

Hmm ok thanks. Basically what i'm trying to figure out is if this is one of the Brock Models, i've been told it could be worth money but i'm having trouble figuring out exactly what it is.
Is there anything you could do to help clarify?
I can upload photo's if needed

You need the VIN number mate. Long skinny tag.
That's what vic roads has registered as the vehicles VIN number so i'm not sure exactly where to find the number you are speaking of. Could you tell me how to find it?
If it was a special build by Brock or HDT it will have tags in the engine bay.
The VIN should be on the front panel near the radiator I think.

The trim and glovebox would also be another indication.

The above is the plate you are looking for
The HDT plates aren't there but is it possible they could have been removed?
Also is this the number you are looking for? There is a "General Motors Holden Limited" plate with the following under it: 8K19LD L117612K
If plates are removed there should be rivet holes or patched places on the firewall.
Could it be a mockup? Post some pics of the car and see what people can tell you.
It's a 3.3 ltr SL Sedan
