Im in need of replacing my tyres. Now this is going to sound bad, but i want to do it as cheaply as possible. I run a 235/45 R17 tyre. The rims currently have Zetum sport tyres on it. They are so shit its not funny, after half tread there is no grip in the wet. In saying that im looking at getting another set of cheap tyres.
The tyres im looking are:
Brand: Durun
Tyre size: 235 /45R 17
Load rating: 94 (670KG)
Speed rating: W (270 Klms/h)
Compliance: CCC, ISO 9000, ISO 9001, DOT, ECE
For $356 i think its pretty good for a set. But has anyone used them and can comment what their like? I dont want to go worse then bob janes failed attempt at a sports tyre.
Cheers.

money spent on good tyres is not wasted.
I ran them on my VT for a while. Not a bad tyre. They're worth what you're going to pay for them.
$80 a tyre isnt going to grip aswell as a $800 tyre. So it's horses for courses.I certainly wasnt driving straight on at every corner, but it wasnt like i was on rails either.

Im use to driving with no grip, and im not exactly a hoon around corners either. Once these zetum tyres got down to half tread there was little no no grip in the wet. So iv sort of gotten use to them. If their worse then that ill steer clear, but as Sabbath said, their not too bad.
