    Default Meguiar's tech wax

I think that's what it's called. I'm talking about the new Meguiar's wax in the purple/rainbow coloured bottle.
Is it ok to apply over a car that has only ever had Meguiar's Gold Class Liquid wax on it? The paint is in excellent condition and has been waxed with Gold Class every three months for the last five years.
Someone told me it was ok to simply apply this new one over the old stuff without removing the old wax first. I don't need to Scratch X it or anything, as it's quite good ATM. Just really wondering if this new one is compatible to be applied straight over the GC?

I'm 90% sure it'll be okay, most of the meguires things are interchangeable with each other unless it states it on the back/front.

Tech wax 2.0 is mint, my cars paint is not the best and it made it look awesome.

Thanks for the reply Devil. I think it might be the way to go. I just don't want to have to remove the existing wax first. I read the box in S'cheap yesterday and it says nothing about application over existing wax, only about using clay bar/ Scratch X if the paint is dull/ swirled.
