Lots of threads on the benefits of high ratio rockers (1.90 HRR ) for the V6 in comparison to the stock 1.65 ratio.
There is not much on if you lower the stock ratio by 10% say to 1.50.
Any benefits.
1. Low end torque earlier in the rev range ?
2. Fuel economy ?
Disbenefits
1. Loss of top end power
2. Engine works harder overtaking
It might sound crazy, but the only stupid question is the one that is not asked.

Pointless question is pointless
Cheap, fast, reliable.....you only get to choose two.
Delete the thread then.
Just get a better cam for more downlow/midrange......
Only valid reason for using lower ratio rockers is to compensate for having too big a cam in your engine than what it can utilise.
Back in the day when most did not understand cam profiles etc, when many backyarders were chucking in "stage 4" cams only to find their motor ended up a gutless P.O.S and had to resort to setting Zero lash and excessively advancing cam timing to compensate.
Your theory of using a lower than standard ratio rocker would be only of use if you had a radical cam in an otherwise stock motor.
