VU SS UTE Series I and II

Hey everyone, im just about to puchase a VU SS Ute, what are the differences between the I and II?
Just wondering if the Series I has problems like some people say and by the Series II they are all
ironed out? Or should I stay clear of the Series Is? Any feedback would be appreciated, Thanks

everything you need to know here;Holden VU Ute also engine rebuilds were fairly common with that vintage- excess oil consumption,might pay to check on that though most of them were fixed under warranty

im pretty sure the VU ss s1 and s2 were pretty much the same excpet for all the little details like you said. but the S1 are a good ute and i wouldnt really be worried about which series it is if it's a good ute and has a good serice history and responsible previous owners that havent flogged it.
