Default What would you buy VX S II Supercharged or VZ SV6?

    Hi Guys,

Just looking arround at new cars and curious on comments between purching these cars..

What would you buy VX S II Supercharged or VZ SV6? The price between them is only about $3K.

    Boost/Na.. I guess it depends which one gets me 0-100 quicker.. the supercharger is 171kW @ 5200rpm with on 1567KG and the SV6 is 190kW @ 6500rpm on 1592KG

    Gear box, no idea...

but other than that the VZ is newer.. but is it "better" or at that 3K better... upgrading from a vt exec..

If you wanted to do any mods, you would get heaps more bang for buck from the VX. In stock form they are provably pretty even to 100ks. I think the stock supercharged 6 did 0-100km/h in around 7.5 seconds and the SV6 would be around that.

The VZ would probably be a bit better on fuel though (and insurance) and newer and more refined so I guess it depends what you're after

My daughter went from a VT V6, to a VZ SV6, then went back to a VT(admit its a Clubsport)
She hated the VZ. Electronic throttle, and 5 speed auto didnt do it.
The SC VX would be a better car IMHO(especially to mod)

Yep. If you want to mod and do some work to it. The VX. If you dont have massive plans for engine mods, get the VZ. Much nicer inside and just nicer to drive IMO.

save the extra $$$ and buy a VX SS or a VY SS
Will be much faster if thats what you're after, better exhaust note, just oodles better than a six.
Unless youre worried about fuel/insurance costs...

    just my opinion
