Default Genuine versus aftermarket spares VE SSV

I am repairing my VE SSV and considering if its worth using some aftermarket spares. No point in saving money on purchase price if the savings get used up in having to modify to fit etc.
I have seen aftermarket radiators, bonnets, headlights for example that are significantly cheaper.
Has anyone used these kind of aftermarket spares and what were they like ?Appreciate any feedback. Thanks

Panels will need a bit of time to get fitting nice, all the body lines and gaps looking even, but will fit

IMO always go genuine parts. However there are some instances where aftermarket is better but often not.

I for example have used aftermarket door handles for my VT, my experience is they are craptastic, in the end I went to a wreckers and got them there.

Thanks to all for your comments. Will stick with the genuine items, not worth the hassle for me.
