im wanting to make my speedo light up blue i dont like the green and i want some thing new.. would i have to buy a new face plate or would i just be able to put blue leds in and that would work.. i have been told there is a green film on the back of the dials that i would have to remove but im not sure hoping some 1 that has done this or knows any thing about it can help

I swapped from normal bulbs to blue LEDs and I think they do a decent job of showing blue.. Would help removing the green film.. but isnt needed..

This is the blue LED compared to white LEDs (i believe)

I'd suggest.. going for these type of LED's

    and not these:

They seemed to be more of a aimed light.. instead of spreading out..

And not using overseas places for buying.. Bought alot of LED's from hong kong for cheap price.. claims long life and what not, work good for a little while.. then start flickering and fail.
I bought some LED's from australia.. and been perfect..
