Hey just doing a manual conversion on my vh just wondering if its ok if the thrust bearing is pushing hard on the pressure plate with not touching the clutch pedal thanks

Not 100% sure but I would guess that will wear it prematurely. Is it Tye right bearing for the gearbox?

cable clutch? adjust the height of the ball the clutch fork pivots on.
Im not really familiar with the clutch fork setup on the ford t5, but after having a look on google images I think it may be the same as on the holden. There arent any great pics so im not 100% on it.

Can you post a picture? You could try cutting and welding your clutch fork so the release bearing sits further back (check your clearances to the clutch cover) or chucking that ball pivot thing into a lathe and turning it down a bit to make it shorter.
Nah think its the bellhousing maybe a little thick at the back
