Just a quick question.
I recently had a blown headlight replaced when I got my car serviced and now it's out of whack.
Is it easier to adjust the lights myself? Or are there strict specifications on how they are to be adjusted?
Cheers
yes there are specs to adjust to, but really not needed
this is how i do it
get a screw driver.
park car in front of wall (at night)
turn on light and adjust
USE YOUR BRAIN WHEN ADJUSTING... THINK, WOULD THIS ANNOY ME IF I WAS ON COMING TRAFFIC OR BEEN FOLLOWED..
You might find this video of use. But yeah, as above basically
MoToRZ Headlamp Replacement and Adjustment
I Found the Best thing to use is a roller door and use the lines as guides to get them perfect lol. But remember tilting them up 1mm is like 1 meter much further up the road lol
Go back to the under ground car park (hopefully with loads of space around you, I'm sure it'll be easy over the festive season) With a pencil or similar non permanent marking device.. Mark your car and headlight centre's (both horizontal and vertical) now squarely place the vehicle 7.6m back. Your low beam should be 105mm below the marked centre line. Be aware of your surrounding i.e. close to drain ect
Cheers,
Dave
