    Default VX Senator Kit

Hello I was going to post this in WTB but I don't plan on purchasing it for atleast 3-6 months, and I just want some general information first

I'm concidering getting a VX Senator kit for my Calais evenevtually (I just love the look of it). Normally I'm not a kit person, I dispise them infact, but this just happens to be the only kit on any car that I like, and well it turns out that my car will fit it perfectly (hopefully).

Now I've seen alot of negative feedback about fiberglass kit's on ebay, and It's making me hesitent about purchasing one, so I was thinking of possibly getting a Genuine Senator front bumper (with the chrome strip and fog lights), fiberglass side skirt's and a Genuine Clubsports or Senator back bumper (They look identicle, correct me if I'm wrong). Then I'd also need to get the senator chrome strip for the front, and the bobtail and roof spoiler.

Would anyone have a rough ballpark figure what it would cost to get them from HSV (with the correct vin number of course). I'm just a little confused about what would be best, and I don't want to go and order a fibreglass one off ebay for it to look fugly on the car.

Even that looks like It would do the job, I'm just scared that it wouldnt line up or something will happen.

genuine is always going to be the best way to go, and since you not buying for another 3-6 months why dont you buy genuine and get the pieces as you find them over that time? you said your thinkin of getting just the fiberglass sideskirts might aswell add a couple hundred to get genuine...do it once and do it right

each part is gonna cost you between $3-400 thats what ive seen at wreckers so your possibly looking at around $1500 for all the parts and paint etc so its not too expensive and you can install it yourself thers only a few screws involved

Yeah I've taken the front bumper off the calais god knows how many times, I assume the skirts and the rear bumper will be just as easy. Good point I'll collect them over time I'll try get in contact with a few wreakers to keep an eye out for clubsport's and senators (clubby for the side and back). And I'll save another 1.5-2 to get the whole car resprayed so it looks all the same.

I hate the two tone tbh. So it's allgood :P

Also, I wouldn't do this until I've dropped it, got my larger wheels and when i get a dual tip cat back exhaust (would look ass if I got it with the single pipe, non lowered with 16's
