Hey guys , I have been offered a
Jap Spec SSS Pulsar N14
1994 model
in manual
Comes With:
-Electric Windows
-Sunroof
Brand new paint job 3 months old also brand new clutch which is also 3 months old.
as a trade for my commodore (1996 vs ) im trying to sell it for around $3,500
I'd just like some info on the n14 sss and if they are any good , speed , handling and so on ?
and also peoples opinions on the trade etc
Wicked car, my best mate has one. Good to drive, handle well, decent power for a little car. Go off tap with a turbo.
In short. Get it.
there good little cars, im led to believe that like all pulsars there extremely reliable.
i cant comment on handling because i haven't driven a N14 yet, if there anything like the n13 or n15 they will handle fkn awesome.
is it audm that looks jap or true jap? also is it already registered?
is it a sr20?
find out what diff is in it as well all pulsars like to spin through tigh corners at decent speed being the SSS it could posibly have the standard nissan "visious" LSD or a single spiner if your ####en lucky it might have a nismo lsd in witch case i hate you and im fkn jelly lol.

How many KM mate? They are a nice car no doubt. Could be a good trade if it won't be too difficult to get a road worthy etc

9999.999% sure that it has the SR20 in it. Should go pretty hard
afaik they are an SR20 engine with a pulsar fitted to the outside of them.
best 4 pot ever.
Indeed are SR20DE

i'll admit i have a soft sport for the ol' pulsar, bloke next door to me had one, fucucker went off when he gave it a boot full!
GET IT!!!
Looks tough mate! It will have the SR20DE unless they have done a different motor conversion into it.

So to sum it up, everyone reckon its a good swap to go ahead with ?
on the condition that the pulsar, is in good conditions etc
it will go faster than your VS it will handle better and be more reliable.
things you must look for is broken front seats, broken passenger side door lock, the dash lights not coming on when the headlights are on, broken seat front seat buckles, some have overheating problems and flatspots around 2.5-3k rpm.
sr20 open diff will be what it has.
as for km's my gf's n14 sss has 300km's and is perfect, have a mate that has thrashed his for the past 4 years and still goes strong with 250km's, my 200sx has been running 15psi for the past 150km's (as fas as i know) and it now has 260 on it and its fine.
change oil every 5km's though. 10w 40 fully synthetic.
and dont forget your radiator pressure tester and cyl comp tester.
Bulletproof motors that go great and the N14's look real nice to.
2.5" Single catback, LSD with 3.46 diff gears, Mace Manifold spacer, K&N panel filter ,VCM Dyno tune, RDA slotted and dimpled rotors.
More mods to come
You wrote it not me.
Take it easy...But do take it...
Do not argue with an IDIOT.
He will just drag you down to his level an beat you with experience.
Some people take me the wrong way, Like smacking up Marijunna.
It' a p player sports car strap on a turbo and it's useless my mates got one with a full forged and cammed engine also tuned by rigoli the thing can't even get traction under boost and it's dangerous and weaves every where cause of the power to the front wheels it's quick but seems like you can't do much with the power
