Such an awesome weekend! Had so much fun. I think this year definitely seen more competitors in the burnout comp towed off then previous years. Every 2nd one seemed to blow something! Even had 2 cars blow their steering! lol. If any of you were there and seen 'The Grass Car', me and Mrs Macca were in it for most of Sat arvo and for the Supercruise (well Mrs Macca was hanging out the window for Supercruise technically lol) If any of you have any pics of the car post em up! Id love to see em!

God yes. SUCH an amazing weekend. If I moved to Perth, I would still travel across the country every year to attend. Great cars, great entertainment. Whats not to like! lol
Been a long time since my days at Summernats, maybe it is time to break the drought and headback next year for a little looksee. My daughter and her friends went the year before last with their VL on the car trailer, had an amazing time, bought back lots of pickies, and of course lots of memories for me.....Oh I feel old. : (

It wasnt ever entered to be a 'good car'. It was a car that cost a few grand to buy and make how it is and purely to be different. Dunno who you spoke to but it spent majority of the time of the weekend having people pose for photos with it and have people saying how much they loved that he had a car that was so different. lol. Its not like he ever made it out to be a show car. Each to their own though. If you hated it so be it. Summernats isnt purely for the show cars that people have spent $50k and much more on.
Yep I seen that guy Troy. I understand the serious nature of what he done, and with that in mind its probably good he's banned for life, as safety has to be put first to make sure events like this continue. Guy sure did rip an awesome skid though. lol

I saw that video troy posted and I'm behind them banning him, dont need attitudes/disregard like that at nats.
Fair enough that ######## security guard shouldnt have kicked his car or grabbed him, but its a separate issue. If I had've been driven into I would have probably been feeling the same way

Unfortunate the way things turned out at Summernats today, I know the way I went about things wasn't right and i apologize for that but telling someone that he cannot skid with two cars to go isn't right either. Summernats had 40hrs to get in touch with me about me driving off the pad after hitting the railing in Friday's qualifier when I was supposedly told by a fire marshal not to. We had a go pro camera attached to the car which clearly shows the fire marshal directing me to drive off the pad and no one telling me to shut it down. We will be uploading this footage from Friday tomorrow. Thanks Steve

Haha. Great shot Parraeels! The guy who owns it lives in Sydney (Sydney Soda Blasting as per the back windscreen) so for any Sydney people you may see it in the city on the weekends as he does just drive it around as a normal road used car sometimes. Haha

Not sureaid he has been banned from next year, I haven't spoken to him but I might send him a message later and ask.
I was probably likely the one who got his details taken off YouTube. As soon as I saw it I messages the person who put the video up. Regardless of whether it was right or wrong of him to boot the car it was pretty piss poor for someone to post his number and encourage people to harass him. I know he had a few wankers calling.
