About LPG conversion, Cut fuel pump or injectors? Or both?
Hi recently got given a full lpg kit, but i cant find any wiring diagram as its a french system or something, the kit consists of; converter, gas tank, lock off soloinods, standalone computer with wiring loom, (not very well marked out), stepper motor, gas inlet ring that goes before the throttle body.
Now ive everything going fine until i got to the fuel pump cut out part, as thats what he had it marked as, theres a power input and power output, both yellow, i dare say the gas ecu would kill the power when switched to gas, now on the power output that goes to the fuel pump, he has 2 relays wired in, now this is what has me stumped, why does he have the relays in there? does he run a cut out to the fuel pump AS WELL as the injectors? If so does any one know if i can just cut into the positive power for the injectors (between the efi relay and the first injector, red wire) and just add the relays in there so it cuts the power to the injectors???
Also is it bad to have your fuel pump not running and your injectors running? as my brother said i will stuff my injectors really quick.
Any help would be appreciated, sorry if info is rough, can give more info if required
edit
was just thinking then, for him to have those relays there he was turning something else on and off at the same time as the fuel pump
well in that theory would be injectors as well as fuel pump?
