I got a vy ute and it sits at about 90mm above the ground, what could i use to bring it up about 10mm thats stable? my mate used wire but its dropped a bit.
Raise the car to a legal height? Problem solved.

it wont get u 10mm but if u use vn commodore rubbers will get u a bit
Get underneath and check that there is 10mm for the pipe to move, won't be worth it if you have to rerout it. If so move the mounts to get more height. Or reduce pipe diameter by half an inch to gain 12.5mm (not ideal)
There are spacers for the springs.. wil link you to them once i find them!
Personaly it wouldn't be for me, but i dont know how hands on with cars you are, if you can do springs yourself yeah would be easy..
there realy not hard to do if you take your time first time

choose the bit you need raised, put a piece of timber either side of the bit you need raised about 1500mm apart, then put the trolley jack under the pipe and lift.
obviously dont do that,
Pffft - just get out the forklift - way less effort!
To the OP. Bashing up your exhaust won't make your car legal. If it's that low it will still fail the second half of the lowered car test - 2/3 suspension travel which IMO is the most important part. I still haven't figured out why when presented with the opportunity to do a job properly many on this forum choose to do it half arsed which often involves more work and still isn't legal

...just sayin'
it sits at about 95mm atm, so really I only want to raise it 15mm or so which is why I dont want to put 4 new springs in..
I wish nz had that law. We only have the 100mm and it's stupid what you see. 4runners etc that are 100mm off the ground with almost zero travel!
Reaper because oz don't have regular forced warrants so provided it looks ok you won't get pinged. We have to go for a wof every 6 months, and yes people get around it but it's harder.
To the op. if you want to raise the exhaust. Put it on a hoist and weld new exhaust mounts that are higher, but still use the rubber mounts.
take it to an exhust shop?
they should heat up the pipe and then jack it up to mould it higher- mate had this done for the same reason ur looking at it and cost him $100
An exhaust shop will chop the mounts off and lift it up closer to the floor or you might be able to bend the mounts and move it up..
Loosen the flange nuts a touch where the pipes go onto the manifolds, jack the exhaust up as high as it will go, then tighten the nuts up again. This should get you the clearance you want.
