Thread: How to keep external wastegate open? Anyone know?

    Not familiar with the PCV system on a VZ. But on mine there is a 19mm nut on top of inlet manifold near top coolant hose that has the valve on a spring inside it. Then the fresh air barb over near the T/B which usually vents to the T/B.

    Put a bung over the throttle body vent hole, and plumb the PCV into a vented catch can, or you can plumb it to the intake side of the turbo

    Lol that's how I had it setup when it was N/A, just without the rocker cover breathers. So now that there are rocker cover breathers I know that pressure can't build up in them, However, won't the PCV still leak boost? I remember reading delcowizzid was very clear about blocking the PCV for this reason. SO confuscious

    Hmm will have to see how it goes. Hopefully it is only PCV that is being a prick, nothing else. Thanks for your help dude

    Well I figured out the problem. The drain hose wasn't getting oil away enough. It should all be sweet now.
