Nice job looks sweet. I have always wanted to make one of these. Looks fairly easy to make yes?
That's mint. Nicely done
ive always wanted to make one of them, but ive never wanted to waste a good engine.
ive got a L67 with a spun big end, maybe i should give that a try. I could polish up the charger and sit it on top of the glass as a centrepeice.
got me thinking now...
looking good.
i love seeing different designs. even if it has been done before.
i remember when at school (hell ive been out for over a year now... SCARY!)
i did a lot of design stuff.
and one of those was for a coffee table.
designed one with the coulsen seats... looked so comfy =P
never made it though.
now you make me want to make a coffee table =P
keep up the good work.
also to above.
why not have it where in the s/charger on top has those spinning parts ot have hidden away wine bottles?
great hiding spot. and also makes good use of the charger.
wonder if i could rig up a system with the charger pulley rigged directly to a crankshaft, turning charger pulley by hand would cause the pistons to move up and down, lifting wine bottles up and down in the cylinders. obviously would need some dodgy internals but would look cool.
actaully heavy metal, hard to turn, possibly needing a lubricant, and bottles would fall out at TDC bad idea on carpet floor. nice thought tho
adz you should get other parts to add to the collection.
eg (and you would need to clean this very well) top of plenum as like a cheese platter. or get a set of 8 and have them as plates =P
and hunt.
if you do build it. make sure to show us. sounds very interesting =P
That is so good.
What do you do when the misses wants to mop under it? lol

Thanks everyone for the comments, after all the drama and problems i had with this engine its good to see something positive come out if it.
It was really easy to make, the hardest part was cleaning it and getting all the oil out if it, i ran a wire brush over the pistons and the top head bolts go straight through the rods to bolt them on, then i sealed it with clear spray paint and taa daa just add glass.
vs_pete_1 its actually not that heavy, im not a big guy and i can just life it lol
If anyone makes one with a supercharger or something id like to see it, sounds cool
Thanks agen everyone
I`m in brisbane I think I should have a look at this I`m impressed.
I can bring a motor for your next project aswell. lol.
