20s on vx ss

hey guys thinking about getting 20s on my vx ss, the guy at wheel shop said they are not legal but had him on his vt. will I have any troubles making them fit, n will I have any troubles with insurance. thats my main worry. I see heaps of cars getting around on 20s surly there not all uninsured

Probably depends on the insurance company. They will insure them, but will charge you for it.

Any reason why you want to go 20's? 20 inch wheels on commodores ride horribly in my opinion. Personally, I wouldn't go over 19's, but I'm quite happy with my 18's.

I had 20s on my vu maloo and didnt have any problams the tyres just needed to have smaller tread to fit under gard 225 or 235s i think.
it was all insured with just car insurance

try and keep the same rolling diameter or as close to it as possible.

Christ there's two of these threads a day, search! A lot of 245/30R20 are good, and maybe one or two 225/35R20 such as Achilles ATR Sport will be good.
