    Default which tyre shine?

Someone may know, what do tyre shops use as tyre shine that gives that lasting wet shine? I've used a plethora of off the shelf brands and I just can't find it.

tyre shops use silicone based tyre shine, most off the shelf cans are water based.

I use Eagle One Wet tyre shine. Seems to last and looms great. You need to make sure your tyres are clean and try not to get any on the body work.

Buy it in commercial quantities and put it on with a paintbrush. That's the way some detailers do it. None of this out of a can rubbish.

I use meguiars hot shine, pour it into a jar and paint it on with a brush sparingly

Lasts ages and gives that really shiny tyre look

The Meguiars Hot Shine is good stuff, as you say it last for ages. The one I bought was in a spray bottle, the way I use it is to spray a bit onto an old Meguiars polish applicator and just wipe the sponge around the tyre, very easy to use.

I use black boot polish on mine, it takes ages to apply results are brilliant and last quite well. Best thing is I dont get the yellow scrum that forms from using tyre shines.

Mothers FX is great on slick side walls. Great finish and doesn't come off and spray on the rear guards.
