    Default HELP Powertrain vx commodore

so basically i have installed a 70mm throttle body onto my v6 vx commodore and the powertrain light has come on and car jerks whenever i put it out of park to drive or any gear asides neutral, also is reving high and gaines revs as its idling. e.g. it sholuld be on around 800 or 900 mark is idling ranging up and down from 1500 too 3000rpm.
have already tried disconnecting the ground on the battery and holding it on 2grand for a minute but nothing seems to be working.
could it be a sensor or will i need to get the pcm tuned?

With the "Throttle Position Sensor" is the wiring clip back in properly. Also very importantly, did you put the tiny little black piece over onto the new throttle body?

Don't you have to get a tune done once you install a 70mm throttle body? or else the engine wont run right. Thats what I thought anyway.

You don't 'have' too, but if you have an auto, it will throw the shift points out a little.

sounds like stop screw isn't adjusted properly or iac is stuck, if you can look with a scantool or laptop iac should idle around 30 steps and tps sensor should read around 500mv
