VE SSV Steering Wheel Badges

I am trying to get to the bottom of a situation here and think I may be getting shafted...
I have an 09 VE SSV and have had the drivers front airbag replaced. I noticed when I got it back that the badge/emblem in the centre of the wheel is different - now it's chrome finish and not like the one that was in there which was the same
finish as the gear shifter which was (aluminium).
Holden rep reckons that these have all been superseded and I can't get one like I had??
Anyone else seen or heard anything like this?

Yup... Same here... to also find out, you just cant replace the badge, you have to replace the whole airbag assy...
I feel ripped too...

yes ripped is one word,shafted also comes to mind. It's not the end of the world but now I have to explain why my airbag has been replaced if I go to sell it which isn't major but may be a turn off.
