235/40R18, 225/40R18* BCT New Semi Slick Style Tread | eBay
let me know if you think they'l be exrtremely crappy tyres.
They'll be rubbish. Bct's are down there with triangle, linglong and wanli
About as good as you'd expect from a random Chinese tyre bought off ebay. Seriously, when it comes to tyres, you've got 6 inches of rubber between you and your family/friends. It's that last thing you should cheap out on.

I'll be he comes to get you, some shopping trolley kind of thing, that gets you where your going nice and slow... Well off you go that's fine, the pleasure's all mine.
When I light the nitro on my HQ 454 Monroe!
I bought some of these on 17" a few years ago and they are absolute garbage. They're noisey, have no grip and shake like a mofo after a couple of thousand km.
ok cheers.. for about the 200 dollar mark what would be a good option in the 235/40/r18, i live in south east suburbs melb so ill drive around if i have to
Bridgestone should be around that I think, havent looked at Tyres on a while lol
Believe it or not wanlis are worse than triangles. I agree with the others good tyres are well worthwhile.
Shop around. I found prices varied all over the place. I ended up getting mine from Tony's tyre service. (don't know of you have them in Aussie)
I got 235/40/18 re002 potenzas for 280nzd each. Probably not far off 200aud. Firestone direct had them for 450 nzd each.
Look for the well established brands: Bridgestone, good year, Yokohama, Pirelli, gt radial etc. 18s are coming down in price. I wouldn't buy dunlops though. Every set I've known have experienced uneven wear and lots have scalloped.
I picked up a set of Continental ContiProContact in 235/40/18 back in October for $188 each. Really happy with them.
Damn that's cheap.
I hate how we get ripped off in nz
BCT?
Bloody Crap Tyre??????
You can pickup Nankang's for $140ish/tyre. Despite all the haters, they're a decent tyre for what you pay.
