Vr statesman 2nd glove box

Hi, I was looking at the second glove box on the vr stato dash and there appears to be a lock on the lid but I can't seem to work out how to use it can anyone shed any light on this.

maybe it has a differnt key ? the original ones may have been replaced.

There no key lock it looks like a pin that pushes out to lock into the glove box
