    Default Gasket Glue

    just made a gasket from gasket cement for my intake manifold on a 2007 SV6, packet says 1 hr set 24 hours cure, does that mean i shouldnt drive my car for 24 hours??
    how long should i leave it??

    I think the bigger question here is why didnt you just fork out an extra $40 for a set of re-usable metal gaskets?

    had bought manifold insulators from Steve from Mace, came with the gasket glue to use so i used it =) lol

    Did you put some on the short end bits too?
    Mine started leaking in the corner.
    I`d leave it for 24hrs. Be a shame to do it again.

    yea its well covered, has now been 10 hours, was trying to see if it would be right to drive to work tonight or if i shud walk
    how did u tell it was leaking??
