It would be a waste to sell it for parts. Obviously the people who don't like the WH will say its not worth it but it's definitely worth it. Fix it and keep it.

And to the people saying "Its only a V6", so what, you would actually be surprised what a WH goes like with a Ecotec V6. Well im not sure about the other ones but my one goes really well. I'd say that the engine was run in good because its definitely not a lazy engine.

Thanks scvs6. Its worth doing that tan leather is class. I know the v6 ecotec go hard we put the battery in it today to open the boot were not ready to start it atm. It has 127000 ks even better than what the old owner said I gave it to my dad he wants it as a project. I have the xw and i am waiting for a vy or ba so i dont need it. I wouldnt mind yours.. Swaps :P

Haha I would like to buy it off you to fix up, but don't think my dad would like it if I bought another car (we already have 10 vehicles on our property). 127,000kms is excellent. I advertised my Statesman for sale a couple of weeks ago but it didn't sell, but ended up changing my mind anyway and plan on getting everything I planned done (including a sunroof).

They have some stuff, if you're lucky, best thing to do is to get the updates from their website when they get a new vehicle - the one in Blacktown gets so many cars come through it its not funny.

I'll probs be there tomorrow to go for more parts if I can convince my mate to help me... I don't like my chances :P

Exactly, virtually as good as the V8 in 98% of circumstances, i.e. driving on the road. Much smaller fuel bill as well.

Interior came up excelent.. and the front end should be that much of an issue to repair.. could probably clean it up and sell it for $5000..

i have to ask, if it's not a rude question how much did you pick it up for. i'd give it a go to clean it, at the end of the day you might spend 200 bucks on cleaning products and have a fkn nice car, or it might not come up at all, but i'd risk it knowing what it could be if it worked, if that makes sense. I'd completly strip the interior out of the car, and clean it all outside, would be so much easier. But yeh i'd have a go at fixing it. hopefully the damage isnt to bad.

It owes us $500. I gave it a quick clean and put some tape on the glass to stop the leaks. I will pull it all out soon when the ground dry's out. I t will come up great it all comes off so easy. Cheers.
