does a vr a kickdown cable?

Hey guys I just recently brought a vr berlina and having some problems with the car and how it's driving it drives fine in reveres and idles fine but when I put it in drive the accelerator heaps heavy and clicks when pushing the foot down and the acclerotor cable getting stuck but as soon as I put the car in netraul it comes unstuck I asked a manger at ultra tune and he said it sounds like its my kick down cable I've had a look today and there's no kick down cable. Just wondering if there was one on the vr cause I know the vs had a electronic one.

no kickdown cable on vr's because the gear box is electronic 4l60e not 4l60 like the vp/vn

just a thought check your cruise control cable isnt (jamming) and holding the throttle open

Cheers guys I thought it was my cruise control at first but I took the cable off for cruise control and it was still happing.

Cable might be worn or kinked.
Also check under the dash for something caught up on it.
