Possible issues with buying a front-end damaged car for cheap

Hi guys,
Just wondering what the possible issues that one would face if they bought a cheap car like this one:
HOLDEN COMMODORE VZ SV6 SEDAN "DAMAGED " | eBay

If the rail and K frame aren't damaged, is it a good buy?

A VZ like that is worth roughly $11500 (of course without the damage). Is it a worthy investment opportunity or just a waste of time?

Since it's recorded as a repairable write off it'll be hard to sell. Even if you do a great repair job, you'll never get full price for it. Many (like me for example) would just dismiss it out of hand and wouldn't even consider buying it.

I'd look else where myself.

Depends on what you want it for. Seems to be fairly cosmetic. Check panel gaps between bonnet and guards and door gaps. If you want it to flip to make some coin, I'd say no. But as a keeper it's probably o.k.
