Vb -vl

i want a vb - vl or any in between and wanting to get it for about $1000 to restore to original condition or to make a Replica for experiance and the fun of it and i am 16 and not going to school so i have plenty of time. so what model should i get or should i try to get something like a Cheap torana which would be more expensive and harder to find ?

VK would be the weapon of choice as most parts would be pretty easy and cheap to come by.

The only thing you will need that you may not have is plenty of money.....

As above your gonna need a lot of money to restore to original condition... to get it roadworthy is one thing, to get it pristine is another

parts for the early girls are getting hard to find at wreckers. And if you do find new parts you pay top dollar

but if you reckon you can afford it, then I wish you all the best. I love the early Commos, I've spent a fortune on my VH. Could have almost bought a brand spankin' new car for the amount I've spent on it. But to me it's worth every cent and I don't plan on ever selling it (owned it for about 10 years now) so not going to lose money on it.

well i was planning on sending my resume in to some shops once i move cloeser in the the city in a couple of months. i know the money wont be the best but it will do. and im thinking of getting a vb commodore to restore i just like them, i think thay look realy nice in original condition with no mods. an some time this year ill have to try to get in a mechanic apprenticeship

+1 for getting a trade ... i started my apprenticeship at your age and was signed off at 19 and working in the biggest mine in australia. stick with it its worth the 4 years of sh*t wage

Lols at "cheap Torana". Certain early Commo parts would be dear/hard to find as it is. Pretty well double the hard to find-ness and expense for a torrie. And that's if you can find one cheap enough that isn't full of rust.

Whatever you end up doing, good luck with it. Go a VH or VK IMO

Hey i is it worth getting a VL for $500? or should i keep looking for a VH. there is no cheap VH's around cairns
