The Holden Heritage

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone else has a copy of the book called The Holden Heritage?

It is a complete history of Holden and model history from the 48-215 to the VY Commodore released in 2003.

that's an amazing read.
when i worked for holden i got to learn complete history of holden, right from the beginnings, when holden was simply putting shells onto foreign car chassis. but whilst learning bout that you also learn bout holdens billion dollar baby the ve, was amazed to see that the very first prototype was a vz shell on a prototype ve chassis.

Nah mate I have one I just took a photo of it. I got it after I completed a Murcotts driving course 6 years ago.

I'd love it of Holden released a new one with the VZ and VE, aswell as a complete HDT and HSV history.

Another pair of excellent books are "Torana Tough" and "Monaro Magic". Both are excellently researched and are a must for anybody who is into old Holdens.

Never knew these books existed. I'm gunna get one and read it. Up to vy is quite cheap so may get that for now and not worry about vz and ve

What do you do for holden?

I'd love to get a job in development with them. Don't know how long engineering at gmh will last though

It comes up on eBay from time to time, I picked up a copy last year for $20. Quite an interesting read.

I have that book on the VN ...but a better book actually far better is the story of the VE
'Autobiography...the inside story of the new VE Commodore'

I also have the Anniversary Edition - The Holden Heritage 60 years
it includes VE and Sportswagon
