clear coat on rims

Hi just wondering how long people would expect the clear coat on alloys to last given that they have been kept clean just asking as my alloys are starting to loose the clear coat and I only brought them last August

Same thing has happened to me with two different sets of rims (one set was genuine HSV wheels). The clear coat started peeling within 12 months of purchasing them brand new. I have had a set repaired and that cost me $250 for all 4.
