HI Guys - we desperately need some help
We just had the VX in Holden getting the oxygen sensors replaced and it has come back with clunk in engine, no power and air sucking noise coming from hose as shown on picture - the hose looks like it has been clamped with a hole either side. What we need to know is will driving it like this damage the engine as it needs to go back to Holden in the morning. It is under warranty so all costs are theirs.![]()

I would ring them 1st to book it in, stressing the urgency of it, and then drive it down, unless they offer to come and get it.......revv the daylights outa them if they wont.......
Yeah we took the turtle back off and was disgusted ourselves - only had it 2 weeks, guess what we doing this weekend?? lol I think I'll ring them and get them to come get it - that way if anything happens on the way to Holden its their prob not mine..
thanx guys

Its the PCV hose collapsed, its a common thing, no real drama, it makes it run lean due to a vacuum leak, if the car still has warranty you will get a new type pipe to replace it. Dont stress about it its nothing major & wont hurt it ok
Rob
yeah thanx Rob - i ended up wrapping insulation tape around it 50 times then drove it 60kms the whole way to Holden - they replaced it for free cos of warranty (normally $85). she's purring like a kitten now![]()
