holden commodore 2006
hello ...

i have holden commodore model 2006 with two remotes that have worked perfectly for a long time
but in the last six months the remote central locking works intermittently and in the last month very rarely
the point is when one remote works the other does and vice versa
( which pushes me to think that the problem in the car not in the remotes)
the problem is only in the remote locking and unlocking , all other operations are okay such as starting the car or opening with key etc. )

I have changed the battery inside , the same problem continues

I tried all procedures of resetting but not useful

any suggestions , I will be thankful alot

waiting for your opinions

These keys are sealed units are they not? Which suprises me on how you changed the battery inside them.

The keys themselves should be self charging whilst in the ignition. Go for an hour long drive somewhere with one key. Change to the other key and drive back with that one in the ignition and both keys should be fully charged.

Never had a problem with my VY keys and it's nigh on 10 years old.

Lol I wish it worked like that. The keys are not self charging and you can indeed change the battery. Done it on my own.

And to the op, my car is was starting this as well. Just fixed itself though.
