    dont shoot me guy's, im not defecting, but i do need some help with a skyline

    nissan jap import, skyeline, 2b20det motor, i need a gearbox, auto that is, anyone know anyone out there who has a spare,and is wanting to part with it, please let me know, or anyone out there who know's a good rebuild shop in qld, let me know

    Have you tried the wreckers hotline? Assuming you have that in QLD. I know here in SA it's called hotline, may be called something diff up there.

    There is a place in Brendale ( North of Brisbane ) called Carmen Import Centre , they are on Kremzow rd. Im sorry I don't have a PH NO. I can highly recommend these guys as I do buisness with them.

    Can always get on the skylines australia forums and have an ask around there.
    But apart from that Jap wreckers should be able to find something for you.

    Jap Imports .. theres a website somewhere on the www.

    I dont know what Nissan used as Slushers, but would a Jatco from a VL do the job???

    I'm pretty sure they had a version of the Jatco, except a little more electronic. My old series II Passage GT turbo had a switchable box with 'Hold', 'Power' and 'Economy'. I wouldn't go with another Jap Auto, too hard to find and equally as hard to rebuild. Maybe just chase up a 5 speed conversion from a half cut someone doesnt want. I've seen them go for around $600 (RB20DET Box)
