thoughts and experiences with 4wd drivers?

omg i dont get it... retard on a powertrip can sum up 4wd owners easily, im sick of them thinking their better with their useless diesel engines and high cars that roll like fat kids... geez

it sucked for me when i had to do my P's test six months ago, the only car park was in between a Landcruiser and a Patrol, so very, very frustrating ...

Yeah unfortunately its like most cars. You usually only see the idiots.

Im not usually one to stereotype in a serious way, but 4WD drivers are an exception for me. Yeah, yeah, minority ruining it for the rest and all that, but there are just so many of them with problems its amazing. And you cant say that people dont buy big cars just to fill their big ego. Only a few weeks ago there was an F500 parked in a carpark across almost 4 car parks, yeah it was big, but not that big - then I noticed the numberplate that said 'HUGE'.

Fair enough if they need one, but really how many ever get off road? They really should need a licence to drive such big cars - I'll bet that most of the women who drive recklessly around in them have an auto licence and cringe at the thought of driving a manual, but legally theres no problem with them driving a monster truck!

I dont mind ANY dirty 4WD. Its SUVs that **** me off. I live in a fairly pricey area, and there are soooo many mothers in their BMW X5s, Porche Cayennes, and Lexus somethings; 4WDs that will never see dirt. Thats what irritates me. And, as an added bonus, they are always piloted by people who couldn't drive if their life depended on it.

aye im a 4wd activist and have a commie too, i can say that the majority of these 4wd owners that never use theur car offroad sickens me! But dont **** on 4wd owners in general! I can say its actually the on p's and after doof doof commie drivers that anoy me the most! My 4wd always has mud on it and goes offroad every other weekend! My commie is clean and fast. the 4wd is now becoming a status symbol not for use offroad... its the new ppl mover...

wrong place to pay out doof-doof commodores. i had to get out of a park between two big ****er 4bies today. was a nightmare.

Our safeway is a classis for SPECIAL parking. Taking up 2 parks etc etc and its not just 4x4s but every other tool and his ugly mrs.

i take up 2 parks, or i usually just park across the supermarket entrance. And its not cause i'm a tool (well, that does help) but i don't want people damaging my car. Only time i park normal, is when i have a mate with the same amount of respect for my car as they do theirs on either side. And the usual sunday drive down the shops doesn't usually include having mates follow me around (anymore

I get piised at the 4wdrivers when you are next to them at an intersection and they pull up close to the line right in front of your view

I mean - why ??? they are so tall that they can see over our lowered VX and see whats coming..then if you pull a little forward so you can see around them they do the "I'm a tough 4WD owner" and pull forward more!!!!!!! man that's when you see road rage at it's finest from a raving red head in a V8 commodore!!!!

I'm with you there..
Now Im not going to sh!t on 4wd drivers in general, I know people that own them.. But it's these wankers who buy one to drive to school and maybe to the shops..
They can't drive them why bloody buy them, 4wd's should be used for what they are made for going off road and that's it..
If you want something to drive the kids to school and going shopping why dont you buy a luxury car that what us regular commodore drives stand a better chance of living when you run into us because you cant drive..

Same as any type of car you drive,its a small minority that spoil it for the rest

I used to owner a highly modded Hilux was always off road every weekend i could spare But i was also had respect for other road users too (We all pay road tax and levys)

But now that i have sold the Hilux and now own a Commodore i see it
alot more,SOME are just rude. These people that drive them need to be taught how to drive them cause they are BIGGER,HEAVIER,SLOWER...

Dude, aren't you that unemployed kid from that other thread? Don't you have anything better to worry about?

So you are sick of people that think they are better than you? Well get used to it, there is always someone that is better than you or I, its a fact of life.

Have you ever driven a 4WD with a 'useless' diesel engine? Those useless engines produce more torque than the average V8.

I think you are just jumping onto the 4WD hating bandwagon cos you are bored.

I got my license on a 4WD, so I got no problems driving one. I do have problems with people that have no prior experience getting into one and then tearing off down the road like they are driving a sedan or sports car. These are the people that cause the accidents.

And what about some of those people movers? Some of them are quite large as well.

Retard on a powertrip? Hmm, P-platers anyone?
