Default Any Panel Beaters in the House ?

Hey ol six just stacked his Calais... nah just kidding

But I did buy a secondhand HSV Clubsport bumper today that needs the paint stripped off it. Its had lots of impact stresses from being moved around when it was off the car and the paint has started to crazy crack all over like a broken egg. So what I want to know is whats the easiest way to remove all the paint off the plastic bumper ? I guess paint stripper is out of the question cause it will affect the plastic ? Can I get it grit blasted or something ? Sandpapering is my last choice...theres got to be an easy way...

Please help...

grit blast or sand blasting would erod away the plastic,
the only way is to sand, i know its hard but its wats done at crash repair shops. if u have a compressor and dynobrade then its very easy and would take little effort or time.
just b carful if doin it all by hand to not get any low spots or cruked lines.

main aim is just to feather out the flaking spots till its smooth and un notacbel when ur hand is run over the flackin area

I have an idea.... maybe there's somewhere that does high pressure water blasting like I've seen them use to strip paint off houses.... The paint on the bumper is flaking off in places so If it attacked on the flake edges it might continue to flake the rest of it off... what ya think ? Sanding is my last resort.... what grit should I use ? 600 ? I have a Bosche electric sander with a little triangular head.

if u can get ur hands on comperssed air then that works well, just get a blower and blow at the flakes and pick at it with ur fingernails, should get most off.
as 4 sanding 240 first but b careful not 2 make it unevan with low spots (just a quick hit to get most flakey areas off)
then 500 to feather it out so its smooth as a sexi ladys legs.

if u miss any flaking part then u run a high risk of it flaking under the paint and peel off the frresh paint

HINT.

When running hand over to chek smoothness, use a flat cloth between you hand and the pannel.
You will feel soooo much more variation and low/high spots.
A mate beater showed me when i worked for him for a few months
