Where do you get it from?
What should it cost?
How much do you use?
What is it based on? EG. Glycol etc?
Pity you do not have an actual temp gauge that could give you temp deg C. as it would be interesting to know what it actually dropped it as the factory temp gauges can be fairly inaccurate.
But this sounds like a good product if there are no side effects.

Wetter water sounds like a fancy term to make more money off selling plain old demineralised water. Of course demineralised water is better to run than tap water and is usually about $4-5 for 4 litres. I guess this wetter water is more expensive?

http://www.redlineoil.com/products_coolant.asp
I swear to god it does work. And it makes sence how it works.. Redline products aint cheap ****. The bottle cost $28.00, i flushed the cooling system at my work with our machine and poured the bottle in.. i think its 355mls. Hmm wish i did have a autometer water temp gauge. would have been nice to see the exact temp, but it has made a big difference. Befor Once my my car was at normal running temp my thermos would kick in trying to cool her down, now with this in my thermos dont even come on unless im really giving it ****. Im very happy with the results any way.

your thermo fans shouldn't rerally be switching on whilst you are driving anyway....they are really only useful when idling or driving below about 25kph.

wetter water is ok...bloody expensive though..
i used it once because my vs seemed to be running a little hot...it brought the temp down the tiniest bit..but then i found the thermostat had a leak and once that was fixed it ran at 1/4 of the gauge all the time.
i guess what im sayin is that the temp gauge gives you a heads up that something is outa wack and if you add wetter water to your coolant, that increase in temp warning might not be noticed.

well...yeah,thats what im say 12volt.
i figure the car will run at its optimum temp if all the cooling system is ok...so adding a concentated inhibitor (wetter water) to lower the temp might be doin more harm than good because you wouldnt notice the increase in temp from a broken/faulty part in the cooling system and get it fixed.

Believe it or not, different liquids have different thermal transfer properties.
I have only heard about Wetter water, don't know what it's made of but it would be made up to have good thermal transfer. Eg: plain water can tranfer heat slightly better than glycol mix. it's just that the inside of an engine will corrode without inhibitor.
Any chemists know what it's made of and why it does this?
WARNING: if you put a cold thermostat in a fuel injected engine, the computer might think that because of the lower than standard temp that the engine is still warming up, you'll get higher fuel consumption. Seen this lots of times. A little cheat we used to do on early EFI was to have a rheostat knob in the dash wired in series with the EFI coolant sensor and when we wanted a slightly richer mixture you could give the knob a twist, tells a lie to the computer and bingo, extra fuel. was good in pre 1986 engines
Reminds me of something. re the difference between water and glycol, look for the Funny Ford Story in a minute

water wetter is meant to be goodstuff! same as all redline products, though expensive it is really good value for your car!
another thing to look at is getting your tuner if you are running an aftermarket EMS, to change the temp setting that the thermo fans kick in at etc.

why bother getting the fans to kick in earlier? They don't make any difference over speeds of 25kmh.

this product works awesome, my old rx7 , vr4 mitsu used to run realy hot in the desert
and you couldn't sit for long before the temp started getting a bit on the hot side, all the coolant and hardware checked out ok, by adding the redline and redline water weting it was never and issue again. we used it on the race cars, same results. strnge stuff but works wonders
