Question to owners of black cars
would you ever buy another one?
i sure as **** wouldnt, the only reason i got a black car was cos it was floor stock and i got it cheaper and sooner then ordering a new one in. its too fuggin hard to keep it clean and when you do wash it, not only do you find extra scratches.... but its dirty 30 minutes later!!!

You're right.. It gets dirty easily.. And scratches show up like dogs balls..
But when it's clean.. Oh babe, it's beautiful.. When I wax my car, it turns into a mirror.. Heaps of people say that they could never get their car that shiny and are envious..
Anyway, a good application of a Meguiars Wax keeps it awesome for a while.. Dirt isn't a problem, only rain is..
But just click the My Ride link in my signature.. That's from a 4 year, 180,000km paintjob...

Give it a good high pressure hose off.. Go through about two cycles of high pressure soap and one of high pressure rinse.. Do it very thoroughly..
Then give your car a nice sponge bath.. Dipping and rinsing in two different buckets..
Chamois dry it and then give it a Meguiars Gold wax.. Or use any good wax.. Paste is preferable..
If done properly, it will stay clean and shiny.. If you really need to make it cleaner, give it a hose down.. Follow it up with a spray on wax.. Takes about 2 seconds to maintain..
I wax my car every two months..
Really not that cumbersome..
