Default were is the temp sender

were is it located can you get a drill in there ?
if so you can bye a drill bit witch drills in to the part then you chuck the drill in reverce and the drill bit catches on the peace you are trying to get out and unscrews it
i know because when i was a kid i snaped the pedal off the crank of my push bike and dad baught one of those tools and he got it out instanty
if you can get a drill in there ill ask the old man what thay are called let me know

Just take it to the mech, much worse if you stuff up the removal and root the thread that the sensor screws into. If the mech does, it's up to him to make it right again.....

you drill a small hole in the center of the peice that is broken and snaped off
then you get some things called eazy outs, they will go in backwards, efectivly unscrewing the broken peice. wonderfull tool

cheers
garth

You should be right to drive with the sensor disconnected. From memory the ECU will run the cooling fan for 30 seconds when you start up, on low speed, and then switch automatically to high speed, where it stays on continously until you shut the engine off. It's kind of a fail safe mechanism, and I remember reading in gregory's that its how you test the fan.
