get some low or super low heavy duty kings, not too expencive and perform well.
also get a rear camber kit, i know they cost extra money but yes, you do need one.
other brands are pedders, whiteline, kmac, theres probably a nother half dozen of them. you could research them all day and still know nothing more.
as for leagal height super lows puts you right on the limit as far as a i know.

i have a set of lovell "super lows" and i think they are a great spring, all i have to do is sort out the suspension in the car and it will be a better ride.

i was quoted $278 for a set of rear monroe GT gas (lowered) variant from repco, anybody else know if i can get these cheaper elsewhere?

side note: sorry to steer off the topic here

I have 1 and half inch lower lovells they are a fantastic spring IMO, much better than Kingys. I have had a set of Kingys before in my calais, but i prefer the feel of the Lovells. Personal thing.

Thats springs front and back, but you will want to swap the rear shokies with the lowered variant otherwise anyone in the back will get a bumpy ride and there is just too much suspension travell elsewise.

i realy do recomend the lovells, i know my next car will receive a set of them..

Im speaking for VY's here, so i dont know if it applies to all models, but this was discussed in great detail somewhere in the VY Commodore section and it was unanimous that Kings Springs were pretty crap and that Pedders were the way to go. Kings give a harsh ride, whereas pedders achieve the same height without compromising the ride.

Ive got a set of pedders on my VY SS and Im very happy with em. They were only slightly more expensive than the Kings too!
