does anyone know if i could fit 19 inch rims on my VK?
as far as i am aware, they will, use one of the tyre size calculators to make sure that the actual tyres are the correct profile then they may even be legal (which would be a bonus)
Tyre Size Calculator
they will you might just have to lip the rear arches and bend the strut pan a bit on the front its just the edges of the pan your springs sit on in the front it just scrapes depends on the offset on the rims
why do that, the rims would be worth more than the car?
HAAHAHAH soooo tru
heres a shot of a vk with 19's ln it
doesnt matter if the rims are worth more than my car, i didnt buy my VK cause it was cheap. i bought it because ive always wanted a nice VK.
vk's are good cruisers i dunno why people are ragging them![]()
yea tru i drive 1 there not bad just 19's are fairly expensive.....but if the vk was heaps mint n u had big plans for it y not i spose![]()
i wasnt sayin vk's werent good, but seriously, why not spend the money on something else?
I reckon 17's look big enough for a VK...

Expensive rims are worth the cash on any car, whether the car cost less or not. Expensove rims will just make the car worth more lol. They will certainly earn the car respect for sure IMO.
That 5 grand worth of rims and tires can quite easily be taken with the owner to any other commodore so i hardly see that as a waste of money.
mymate has 19" rims on his vh and its lowered 2" on the front and 2.5" on the rear. The vh was owned by a 60YO and is in MINT condition and i mean MINT! i would eat my dinner off it!
hey VK_308 if you wanna sell the mags you got now let me know![]()
Yeah exactly man. Its not like they are limited to the car, they can be swapped to any car you buy in the future.
Some people simply dont understand. Its the same with me, I didnt buy a VN cause it was all I can afford... I bought a VN because I love the shape and the car and at my age its too hard to insure a V8, so I went with the V6 im most keen on, which is exactly what I bought. Making my car individual and making it look just how I want it to, makes me happy. Plus I have a car thats cost me the same as a stock VT would and it turns alot more heads, drives how I want it, looks how I want it and I find it satisfying.
they should fit, just make sure you have the right offset and profile, not a problem. VK's are great cars. looking for one myself
