I tried to buy a commodore (worth the read)
I almost bought my first commodore. I had a budget of about $10G so i was looking for a vr/vs, but found a VTII berlina for $14G with only 44000kms ( owner had died), so i was prepared to stretch for a car with those kms.
It was advertised for $15G, but he said he'd take 14 the day before. Then I called him the next day to say I'd take it, but only got his wife. She agreed to let me come and pick it up for 14, so I raced to the bank and got a bank cheque. I'm on the way to get it, and he calls me back to say it's still being advertised for 15, so I'll have a week to wait to see if anyone offers the full price.
He called me back half an hour later and said he'd take 14. I head over to get it and the police were there, and asked me if I was there to buy the car because there had been an incident, I thought I was gunna get shafted again. I looked across the road, and it had rolled down the driveway and into the house across the road.
Un-fncking-beleiveable! So now I have to start all over again. :b:

haha definately worth the read. Bad luck, but like pretty much everyone gets told when they're looking at a car. It wasn't the one for you and you'll find something better. For 14 grand you can find a VX II or something. Shop around!

Yeah it went through a brick wall on an angle, so definate chassis damage. But like everyone said, it happened for a reason, and now I can look for a vs which is what I really wanted anyway.
