Help help help

Hey all,

Some bastard broke into my home last night and flogged my wallet and car keys... they tried to take my beloved stato but the alarm went off... and so did they.

NOW my question/dilema... these ****s now have my car key AND alarm pad, (not to mention all my id, house keys etc) i have tried to ring hornet car alarms and all the numbers i have are no longer used.

WTF do i do... not only can they get into my car whenever they ****in want, but if i lose my only key then im screwed.

You should have a spare car key and a spare alarm remote?

The alarm manual should be able to tell you how to change the code to use another remote and it should render the old ones useless. You should get another one from the company.
Open your car and pop the bonnet. Disconnect the battery and siren. If it's a backup siren, it should have a key lock on it, so you can turn it off. You have a spare key don't you? If not, stick it inside a soundproof bin until it goes flat and open it up and replace the lock with another one from Dick Smith or something.
Re program the alarm box with your replacement remote.

As for your locks, maybe get the barrels changed to use new keys. Cheaper than new locks it should be. That's if you are really worried about this turkey coming back.

Lets not talk about killing people.

What we need is for judges to give decent jail sentences + fines for criminals who do things like this and be ordered to face the victims and apologise to them. Maybe even expose them to the public by having a car theif database on the Web. Maybe this will make theifs think about not doing it.

I forgot to add that in places like Singapore, if you like stole a car, you'd probably get 6 slashes and 12 months jail. Here, you have got a dick making out he has a drug problem and gets off with a warning/$300 fine or 6 month suspended sentence. :b:
