Default Vauxhall Omega to VX Commodore

I'm new here, and live in the UK.

Over here Commodores are called Omega's, and commodores (expecially the VX models) look far better than the omega's. I have a question, does anyone know whether its possible the parts are interchangeable? Such as the headlights, front and rear bumpers.
There is a really nice kit I'm after and it would look awesome over here in the UK. Nobody would of seen anything like it.
Also, are there any sites that do commodore aftermarket parts? Haven't had any luck so far.

This is a car that was for sale on ebay with the kit and stuff i want to make the omega look totally unique.

Cheers!

Actually, the Omega is only simular to the Commodore in looks and has no interchangeability with it, except for the outer door skins and grab handles. Every other panel on the Commodore is different (bonnet, guards etc etc) due to the Commodore's larger size. The Commodore is not only wider and longer car than the Omega, but it has different driveline and transmissions and a totally different interior, so there's no chance of converting your Vauxhall to a Holden, not without enourmous cost anyway. Sorry mate.

ah well, it was a nice thought, its a shame we only have Irmscher here that do performance parts. I don't see why the UK didn't take the commodores on like the monaro's, i'd buy one!
only alternative is to get one imported, but i'm not too keen on the interior of the commodores, except the newer ones. i suppose it cld be possible with a lot of fibre glassing, but it's not really worth the money at the moment.

Cheers mate.

could anyone tell me what kit that is? and also the length of the headlights on a VX? I doubt they'd fit from what buddyforu said, but its worth the look in i guess! I don't know why they werent exported out here, they'd definately bring some life into our roads. Also, any mod sites around?

The kit that's on that car is the HSV Clubsport kit. I'm mostly sure anyways. Ebay would be the best place to look for kits as performance part websites generally suck (I've found). www.ssv.com.au www.spoilerfactory.com.au

clix he is saying that there are monaros there, vxomega meant that if they bring over monaros y not commodores aswell?, i agree, there really seems to be nothing over there with any medium sized engine, its all 2.2turbo or expensive bmw and merc 6's and 8's, they need a middle man...

cheers guys, i had a look at the spoiler factory one, not that expensive (in pounds anyway...) emailed them finding out if they cld make them a little smaller to fit if not, up to the old shop it goes.

and yeah, monaro's... I have yet to see one on the road over here, tempted to take a test drive but i know i'd end up wanting one and they're too damn expensive to run, insure and buy. Everyone's probably too scared to drive them.

been looking on ebay as well, have to keep my eyes peeled for some cheapy's theres been a few recently, but still need to find that clubsport version.
