A mate of mine was driving his mums car. It started to smoke, so he drove faster so he couldnt see the smoke. Ended up wreaking it

my mum was talking to the salesman about buing a forrester turbo and he asked what sort of driving she does (implying highway or city driving) and her reply was 'umm, fast...?'

This one is probably going to make me look like a dikhead and I won't do it again though....... I pulled out of a shop village and I was turning right but I took up 2 lanes on the keep clear area. The other cars turning right were taking a while for cars to pass on the other side of the lights while the left lane was free but taken up by me also. A swine behind me honked and I thought screw you and I turned around and stuck my finger up at him.

I thought the traffic was moving and I smashed into a Honda CRV sport and scratched her left rear bumper and smashed my headlight and bent my bumper.
That was in my old car. I'll never do anything like that again.
Cost me $450 excess on insurance + $70 parts and did $1600 to her's for a few scratches?

I try to stay calm most of the time on the road. Everyone seems to want to drag you and get infront.

isnt it funny when a VY commy behind u comes to drag u in an overtaking lane and its not till your doing 175hm/h and it goes past u that u realise its actaully a SS commy (happened to a frind)

i dunno if this is funny or not but dads old hz kingswood ute started making noises, like when the pistons r hitting something, so he drove it carefully to the mechanic and showed him thinking that they would have to completely pull down the motor to replace a piston or wat not, then the mechanic got in and revved the crap out of it, it backfired, blew smoke, then went fine...it seems that some crap come off along the petrols journey to the engine and ended up getting stuck on a piston, funny thing is that he was a lucky one, there were a few stories of the rev tecnique not working...

Yeah, years ago when I was an apprentice, I had an LJ torana and was driving around in country NSW; car started misfiring, backfiring etc. I nursed the car into the nearest town (30 km away) and called into the mechanics. He jumped in, revved the **** out of the engine........ Next thing, loud noise, smoke, huge backfire and then silence. Not a piston, just the timing gear disintegrating (although the mech told me it probably was a buggered piston and pulled the top end down to check, sneaky bastard). Cost me heaps in labour (about 6 hours!) in the end, should have been fixed in an hour.
