Mag Wheel scraped
Does anyone know of a place in sydney where i can get alloy mag wheels repaired? i scraped one of my mags near the corner the rim on my VZ SS. they are VZ monaro wheels. i imagine the wheel needs to be repainted?

but it does  . it would have to be a sphere to have no corners. he means the edge, where the rim meets the tyre obviously

ok lets be specific then lol. i guess he scraped his rim about 8.5 inches from the centre of the rim

well, i would just say go to your local tyro joint of wheel place, and no doubt they would know a place where they can fix it up or even do it there

ah close enough  . didnt know if the VZ had 17s or 18s. but yeah, i wouldnt mind info on this either. my wheels have a few scratches in the same place

No.. The circumference is just the length of the curve.. It refers to a numerical measurement..

how deep is ur scratch, cos i had a few light gutter scratches on my wheels and my mech got it sent to get sanded and filled in then resprayed, looks like new, i got it done 50buks a rim , dunno where it got done tho, just ring around the mag wheel repair joints and get a price and make sure they spray it the right colour, cos i my mate got his done on vtss wheels and they cme back plain silver instead of that really shiny metalic silver holden uses(now 2 wheels are diff colour)...they r really nice rims the VZ monaro/ssz rims must have really ****d u off wen u saw the scratch
