CV8 Vic Police Car

Saw this the other day... thought it looked great. Not sure if everyone else has seen it.

I thought they were lucky getting to cruise areound in VZ SS's - now this!!!

yeah i saw that a while back, holden donated about 4 or so monaro's to the police, i think it was Victorian Police Force....yeah lucky b@st@rds lol...but yer i didnt c them with those paint jobs lol...

i mean why would they need a monaro?? no room to put people into, i dont see it working as a police car lol

They are completly standard. They are running no boost at all.
To be running boost would mean two things, one that there is no warrenty on them now, and two that they are not in a RWC state as they would not pass emissions.

qld has only got 2 of them, they are now being fased out, mainly cause they are no longer making the monaro, there were 2 running either the m1, or the warrego highway at any one time,

both 2 cars are completly stock, no superchargers or anything

I know that down here in Melbourne we got at yellow GTS or GTO HSZ Coupe cop car, it was a highway patrol car.

i think they have 9 and the number plates are HEAT1 -9

and they also have unmarked street racer cop cars, obvisiouly to catch the street racers, i no off 2 that are plain white, tinted windows. ones a XR6 turbo and the other XR8, and apparently they HAMMER

They dont have it any more. It was a Y series HSV GTO. With all the inner city police cars, they are donated by manufactors. VIC has had some BMW's, Audi's, ect........

hay all you victorians i was on a road trip from syd down thou mel a couple of years back and i saw on one of the highways on the side of the road a bloody stingray with flames AND POLICE ON THE SIDE lights on top and all now was that really a cop or just someone asking for trouble?? i think it was between mel and taralgon
