    Default wheel bearings

    my wheel bearings on the front passenger wheel decided to die today
    been told they need to be replaced
    how much will it be to get this fixed??

    this happened 2 my works van.... got fixed at madaz motor sport think it was like 100 or 200.....somthing long those lines

    new bearings and runners are $20 genuine so thats shit all... hours labour and a new seal.... i wouldnt pay someone more than $150 for both sides

    well im the apprentice mechanic....$80 an hour for labour.....parts and seals is pretty good for $150 where was that from?

    both sides.......new bearings and runners.....pack em, seal em and tighten, run them in and re-tighten...... it all adds up u know

    well its fixed,cost $172 to get both sides done
    pasenger side was the wost the mechanic had ever seen,
    said it was proberly because the 18'ns wore them out quicker

    i'm just so glad it didnt stuff up on the SA cruze on sunday lol

    yeah bearing r cheap now days, u can get genuine or aftermarket ones for cheap hey roughly $20 - $25 not bad at all...but yeah labor shouldnt be too much, $150 seems about right, gald u got ur all sorted out!

    i had a similar issue with the Calais...rear right bearing had brake fluid all through it, when the mechanics were changing the break pads yeah so not expensive for me!!
