Default What is my alarm?!

Please help me guys...

I bought a Vp the other day and it has an alarm...no manual or brand on it.

Was going fine for a few days until I unlocked it, went to start it and it went off. I tried the unlock key - no good. Tried just about everything and still no good. I turned alarm off at siren, engine was still immobilised, so I disconnected the alarm under the dash.

I took the car to all alarm/autoelecs in town but still no luck - can't fix it and don't know what it is.

I called prev owner who says it's a black widow - do all of these have 'black widow' stamped on them??

Anyway, I have found a pic of a black widow model - the BW9900 that looks EXACTLY the same as mine, with the same components, wiring, remote etc. Does anyone have this model and if so is anything written on it?

Here is the link to the pic:

Please help me - it's driving me crazy!

-Thanks

Maybe theres a switch somewhere, maybe speaking to the person you got it off would be the first port of call.

There might be a switch in the line somewhere?
Connect it up and play around with the remote again, if it was working and then stopped working I doubt theres too much that could go wrong. Usually if the alarms gone off you press the remote and it enables everything again.
